Welcome
Oxford City Korfball Club was set up in 1992 and has become the biggest club in Oxfordshire with three teams and around 30 regular players. We play all year round, indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer. We compete in local league and cup competitions with clubs from Abingdon, Oxford University, Didcot, & Milton Keynes, as well as tournaments around the country.

You've got this far and aren't sure what Korfball is?
Korfball is a unique mixed team sport that men and women play together, with similarities to netball, basketball, and handball, but very different. It's fast-moving and skillful, for players of all ages (we range from early 20s to 40s) and abilities (no experience at all, to 15+ years), and it's competitive yet friendly.

Nottingham Tournament report

Oxford City 8th at Nottingham!!!!

CKC entered a team at the Nottingham tournament this year. We were two girls short, but managed to borrow from Nottingham and other clubs, who had girls to spare.

OCKC played seven matches over the day, and ended up 8th out of 20 teams, which was a great result.

The morning consisted of four group matches, with Oxford winning three and drawing one - a great result, meaning we went into the top pool for the afternoon. The highlight of the morning was beating Bec 3-2, with Michiel scoring a massive long-shot early in the game that clearly rocked Bec, who never went ahead.

The afternoon consisted of three games, unfortunately we lost them all, but ended up in an excellent 8th place, better than we could have hoped for.
