Welcome
Oxford City Korfball Club was set up in 1992 and has become the biggest club in Oxfordshire with three teams and around 30 regular players. We play all year round, indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer. We compete in local league and cup competitions with clubs from Abingdon, Oxford University, Didcot, & Milton Keynes, as well as tournaments around the country.

You've got this far and aren't sure what Korfball is?
Korfball is a unique mixed team sport that men and women play together, with similarities to netball, basketball, and handball, but very different. It's fast-moving and skillful, for players of all ages (we range from early 20s to 40s) and abilities (no experience at all, to 15+ years), and it's competitive yet friendly.

Exciting league evening sees both City 2 and City 3 win by one goal

City 2 started their 06/07 league games with a closely fought game against Abingdon 2. It was neck and neck for most of the game, but with two goals from second half sub Dave, City edged it in the end.

City 3 also had an extremely close game against Didcot, who had beaten them in a pre-season friendly recently. Didcot pulled two goals ahead early on, but City 3 came back, despite missing a couple of penalty chances. Didcot then lost a player through injury and were down to six players for the last five minutes. The scores were level at 6 - 6, but with 20 seconds to go Max broke free and scored a running in shot to take the game.
