Welcome
Oxford City Korfball Club was set up in 1992 and has become the biggest club in Oxfordshire with three teams and around 30 regular players. We play all year round, indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer. We compete in local league and cup competitions with clubs from Abingdon, Oxford University, Didcot, & Milton Keynes, as well as tournaments around the country.

You've got this far and aren't sure what Korfball is?
Korfball is a unique mixed team sport that men and women play together, with similarities to netball, basketball, and handball, but very different. It's fast-moving and skillful, for players of all ages (we range from early 20s to 40s) and abilities (no experience at all, to 15+ years), and it's competitive yet friendly.

City 3 score three late goals to beat City 2

It was neck and neck during the second half, but City 3 pulled away at the end to win by six to three

City 3 started well, and at half time were 2 - 0 ahead, but at the beginning of the second half City 2 drew level with two very quick goals. There was then a very even spell for much of the second half, with both sides having good chances.

City 3 drew ahead again with a massive long shot from Paul W., but City 2 immediately evened things up with a virtually mirror image long shot from the half way line by Patri. It was looking like a draw, but with two penalties in the space of less than five minutes, City 3 wrapped things up, and finished off with another goal to win by six goals to three. Congratulations to both teams, it was a great game to watch!
