Welcome Oxford City Korfball Club was set up in 1992 and has become the biggest club in Oxfordshire with three teams and around 30 regular players. We play all year round, indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer. We compete in local league and cup competitions with clubs from Abingdon, Oxford University, Didcot, & Milton Keynes, as well as tournaments around the country. You've got this far and aren't sure what Korfball is? Korfball is a unique mixed team sport that men and women play together, with similarities to netball, basketball, and handball, but very different. It's fast-moving and skillful, for players of all ages (we range from early 20s to 40s) and abilities (no experience at all, to 15+ years), and it's competitive yet friendly. Want to find out more or give it a go? Come along to your first four sessions for FREE! Click HERE for directions to where we practice, and HERE to contact us for more information.

The OKA cup first round draw is now available, along with match dates.
For the OKA cup we have, for the first time, entered 4 teams. This is due to the growing number of members we have. This means that we will have to change the teams for the cup, as we need 4 teams of 8 instead of 3 teams of 10-13.
All teams (incl. City 4) will play at least 2 matches; when a team loses it's first match it will compete further in the plate competition. Since we go to four teams we will probably have the 3rd and 4th team as equal teams.
Since the first OKA cup matches take place during the league season, you could find yourself playing for different teams within a weeks time. Unfortunately, this cannot be avoided so don't get confused.
The first OKA cup matches are played on 18 February when City 1 play MK 1 and City 2 play Uni 2. Therefore teams will be announced in time for these matches.
On 25 March City 3 will play MK 3.
City 4 will get a bye into the second round (Congratulations City 4!) where they play the winner of the match between City 2 and Uni 2.
See you all tomorrow, Michiel
For the die hards who can't wait; if City 1 wiln their first round match they will play Abingdon, if City 1 loses they play Didcot or Basingstoke in the plate.
If City 2 win their first round match they'll play City 4, if they lose they'll play the loser of the match between City 3 - MK 3.
If City 3 win their first round match they'll play the winner of the Uni 1 - MK 2 match, if they lose they'll play the loser from the City 2 - Uni 2 match.
If City 4 win their first (2nd round) match they go into the draw for the semi-finals.
