Welcome
Oxford City Korfball Club was set up in 1992 and has become the biggest club in Oxfordshire with three teams and around 30 regular players. We play all year round, indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer. We compete in local league and cup competitions with clubs from Abingdon, Oxford University, Didcot, & Milton Keynes, as well as tournaments around the country.

Korfball is a unique mixed team sport that men and women play together, with similarities to netball, basketball, and handball, but very different. It's fast-moving and skillful, for players of all ages (we range from early 20s to 40s) and abilities (no experience at all, to 15+ years), and it's competitive yet friendly. Tournaments, socials, etc
Dont forget to let Jo know if you want to attend any of the tournaments. Wednesday 13th June 07 – 8.30pm Friendly match against Oxford University. IIffley road sports hall
Thursday 21st June 07 – After training BBQ at Geoff Pegler’s 'Newly Done Up House'
Campbell Road by Florence Park.
Please bring some stuff to throw on the barbq and a beverage of your choice.
Saturday 23rd June 07 – Central MK festival including Korfball demo game
OR Birthday Punting 2 pm – 4 pm from Cherwell Boathouse.
Followed by general pubbing and getting to Far from the Madding Crowd for drinks 7.30pm
onwards. Proper invite email to follow when I have time to do it.
Saturday 30th June 07 – Paul Whites housewarming, Headington.
BBQ and some polite beers from late afternoon onwards.
Saturday 7th July 07 – Exeter tournament.
OR BKA Level 1 Coaching Course in MK from 10am to 4pm at £25
Thursday 19th July 07 – Beginners session (as well as normal training).

Saturday 28th July 07 – Milton Keynes tournament (with live music, bouncy castles and other games.).
Saturday 18th August 07 – Nottingham tournament and social pls camping overnight.
